Der Spiegel’s Holocaust Reading List features ‘Emmie Arbel. The Colour of Memory’ and ‘But I Live’

We are honoured that two of our project-supported graphic novels have been included on the ‘SPIEGEL Geschichte’ recommended reading list, “Reading and Learning about the Holocaust.” The list includes the German editions of both: Emmie Arbel: The Colour of Memory and But I Live: Three Stories of Child Survivors of the Holocaust:

Der Spiegel is a major German news magazine and syndicate, and the list comprises of 50 works from a variety of genres and mediums, including novels, children’s books, and graphic novels. The list, as the magazine notes, includes books for both experts in the material and those looking to learn more about the Holocaust. The list is accessible to Der Spiegel subscribers here.
