‘Two Roses’ and ‘But I Live’ Featured in High School Holocaust Literature List by FHAO

We’re excited to announce that Facing History & Ourselves, a non-profit whose goal is to provide teachers with resources to challenge bigotry and hate, has include two SCVN graphic novels in its list “Books about the Holocaust for Middle and High School.” The two books selected for the ‘High School Holocaust Literature’ list are But I Live: Three Stories from Child Survivors of the Holocaust and Two Roses: A Story of Deception and Determination in Nazi Germany. The list aims to offer suggestions to teacher on works that are less frequently taught in schools but still offer space for students to explore a wide range of perspectives.
