The documentary short film, ‘The Apothecarian’s Boy’, presents child Holocaust survivor Klaus Zwilsky’s collaboration with graphic artist Gilad Seliktar to create a graphic novel about his life and experiences during the Second World War in Berlin, Germany. The interviews took place at Klaus’s home in Palm Springs, California, in May of 2023. Gilad Seliktar also made a trip in July to Berlin to meet with Aubrey Pomerance, Head of Archives at the Jewish Museum Berlin, and explore items in the Zwilsky Collection and to visit the Jewish Hospital Berlin where Klaus and his parents survived.
