The SCVN webinar series created in partnership with the UBC-V Public Humanities Hub are an opportunity to explore the topics, methods, and issues that are critical to the goals of the SCVN project.
Our first series launched in 2023, and explored the Ethics of Trauma-Informed Research to provide foundational knowledge for our Research Clusters and project partners. The second series, Art and Testimony, brought critical issues in art-based research into a contemporary focus, including conversations with students and artists. The third series, Archiving with Care, explored archival practices as a collaborative, participatory and care-based methodologies, featuring conversations with SCVN’s researchers, archivists, and survivors.
